Apology

Apologize for not posting my recent travels sooner but I have been busy training my new assistant Bueler. He is in the process of getting his head shots done but once completed I will make sure we post them.

Buford's 4th July Trip to Oregon

4th July Trip to Oregon - I had the pleasure of spending 4th of July with Laura Gaines and the Detmar family. We had a great time on the trip and I met some new friends.











While there we went white rafting on the Rouge River next to Medford and Ashland Oregon.















I was hesitant at first as you can imagine! Lets be real here, I am only 6 inches tall and can't really help out with paddling so I was putting my life in the hands of my boat mates.


After discussing the safety features of the boat with the Raft Rite Renal associates and conferring with Laura and her boyfriend, Justin, I took a few sips from my flask, said a prayer for my life, and grabbed the classy life preserver Rite Rafts kindly provided, and headed out on the river.

Once we got to our final destination I popped a cold one and kissed the ground! Although I must thank my boat mates as it was a trip of a life time and they did keep me safe!

It was then time for a little sun and relaxing. I borrowed a raft that was more my size and style and spent the day soaking up the rays! Overall it was a great day filled with fun and adventure!






4th of July - We spent 4th of July at Justin's cousin, Jeff's house. We had a great family dinner and ended the evening watching fireworks in the street.


















I was even feeling a bit frisky after my river rafting adventure and got out there and lit a few myself.










It was a great vacation and I am looking forward to seeing my new friends in the future.

Emergency

Where do accidents happen? Around the house of course. If you can't tell what happened, I lost my thumb when I slipped and fell in the kitchen. And no one is the around the house so I had to drive myself to get medical attention in the middle of the night.

Health insurance for gnomes ain't what it used to be. Doctors these days are total hacks. They did get it attached eventually, but the recovery wasn't quite what I expected.

Skateboarding is Not a Crime!

I went to a picnic out on Long Island during my time in New York. It was quite literally, a swinging pary.
As usual, distant relatives everywhere, but no one I could get close to.





















I decided to try something new, and went skateboarding for a little bit. Someone who was filming a movie called "Gnomeass" even took a video of it.

Of course, "Froggy Law" always has to come by and screw up a good thing. I thought they were supposed to be pigs.

Washington DC

I went to Washington DC recently. Visiting the capitol city was fun. I ran into another garden relative out on Hanes Point. He was kind enought to let me engage in some nasal spelunking. Rumor has it, they're going to convert his home to condos with a strict no gnome policy. Sheesh!

Antignometic?

I went to my first amusement park this weekend out on Long Island.

It started off bad as soon as I walked inside. I was below the minimum height to go on any of the rides. Then, I wanted to buy a street sign for my home garden, but they didn't have my name.

I couldn't find any of my relatives around, and when I looked at the accommodations, I could understand why. I did run into some distant relatives, but you should hear their horror stories. There used to be seven of them.

Clearly, this entire organization is ANTIGNOMETIC!

Travelling to the Big Apple

My first trip to NYC and I expect to go first class. The first seat they offerred on the plane was far below expectations. Luckily for them, they upgraded me to a seat with a little more security (I'm a little afraid of flying) and a nice view.













They made up for their initial mistake by introducing me to someone special. We had a wonderful evening together. I felt things my gnome hands had never felt before.
